〈Study of Intraterior〉는 커튼, 행주, 식탁보, 속옷, 벽지, 데코타일, 바닥재 등 일상에서 접하는 직물과 실내 장식 요소들을 수집해, 이를 기하학적인 판으로 제작하고 모노프린트 기법으로 찍어낸 판화 작업이다. 색보다 물성 자체를 전사하는 방식을 통해 각 소재의 고유한 질감을 부각시키며, 공간을 구성하는 데 있어 촉감의 역할을 환기한다. 표면에 드러나는 질감은 촉각을 자극하고, 이 원초적인 감각을 매개로 내면과 외부 세계가 자연스럽게 연결된다. 다양한 판을 겹쳐 찍고 배치를 변주하는 방식은 유동적이고 가변적인 공간감을 만들어낸다.

Study of Intraterior series is a printmaking project using monoprint techniques. It begins by collecting everyday textiles and interior elements—curtains, dishcloths, tablecloths, underwear, wallpaper, decorative tiles, flooring materials. These are turned into geometric plates and used to print. Instead of color, the work transfers the physical properties of each material. This approach highlights the textures and recalls the role of touch in forming space. The raised surfaces stimulate the sense of touch. Through this primal sensation, the inner self connects naturally with the external world. By layering different plates and altering their composition, the prints create a sense of space that feels fluid and changeable.
