⟪분사된 궤도⟫(2026)는 회화에서 다뤄온 기하학적 운동과 물감의 우연한 흐름을 조각과 공간으로 확장하며, 회화·조각·벽면 설치가 하나의 감각적 환경을 이루도록 구성한 전시다. 여기서 기하학은 절대적 질서나 시각적 거리를 조직하는 구조라기보다, 입자의 움직임, 촉각적 표면, 생성적 알고리즘, 위상적 전환과 같이 근대적 이성 체계가 배제해 온 불안정한 요소들과 결합해 감각과 물질의 흐름 속에서 다시 작동한다.
전시의 중심을 이루는 ⟨분사된 궤도⟩ 회화 시리즈와 ⟨홀론⟩ 조각 시리즈는 이러한 탐구를 서로 다른 방식으로 풀어낸다. 접하는 원들의 구조(tangent circle)를 기반으로 생성된 곡선과 분사된 색 입자는 회화의 화면 안에서 흔들리는 궤적을 만들고, 구면 기하학을 바탕으로 제작된 모빌 조각은 공간 안에서 회전하며 끊임없이 변화하는 형상을 드러낸다. 이들은 벽면 설치 ⟨기하학적 메아리⟩와 어우러지며 전시장 전체를 하나의 연속적인 장으로 연결한다.
이 전시에서 회화는 먼 거리에서 대상을 제시하는 이미지라기보다 관객을 둘러싸고 스며드는 비중심적 환경으로 존재하며, 공간 전체에 하나의 감각적 대기를 형성한다. 관객은 산란하는 입자와 회전하는 조각 사이에서, 자신을 하나의 중심으로 고정하지 않은 채 시선과 몸의 위치에 따라 끊임없이 변화하는 장면을 경험하게 된다.
Sprayed Orbits (2026) expands the geometric movement and the spontaneous flow of paint explored in painting into sculpture and space, creating a unified sensory environment where painting, sculpture, and wall installation intertwine. Here, geometry is not presented as a structure that organizes transcendent order or visual distance. Instead, it operates anew within the flows of sensation and materiality, merging with unstable elements long excluded from modern systems of rationality—such as the movement of particles, tactile surfaces, generative algorithms, and topological transformations.
The painting series Sprayed Orbits and the sculptural series Holon, which form the core of the exhibition, unfold this inquiry through different approaches. Curves generated from the structure of tangent circles and the flow of sprayed color particles create shifting trajectories on the canvas. The mobile sculptures based on spherical geometry rotate within the space, revealing ever-changing forms. Together with the wall installation Geometric Echoes, they connect the entire exhibition space into a single continuous field.
In this exhibition, painting no longer presents an object viewed from a distance, but exists as a decentered environment that surrounds and permeates the viewer, forming a sensory atmosphere throughout the space. Amid scattering particles and rotating sculptures, viewers encounter constantly changing scenes shaped by the shifting positions of their viewpoint and body, without anchoring themselves to a single center.
